The Itinerary

Day 1-3 Canggu

Arriving at Denpasar Airport, our local team will be awaiting your arrival, ready to take you directly to your first accommodation! With the initial jet lag in mind, we've set aside the first three days as free days, allowing you to unwind at your own pace. Whether you opt to delve into the vibrant backpacker scene, lounge by the hostel pool, visit nearby beach clubs, or add on some extra activities - the choice is entirely yours!

Day 4 Nusa Penida

Embark on an unforgettable full-day adventure to Nusa Penida, departing from Canggu in the early morning via private minivan. Accompanied by our team the whole journey, you'll sail to the island and meet your personal driver for the day. Snorkel the crystal-clear waters (hopefully spotting some manta rays!) in the morning, and then continue exploring this iconic island, stopping at Kelingkling Beach and more on this incredible day!

Day 5-6 Lovina

Your next destination takes you up to the serene beaches of northern Bali, where a stay at a luxurious beach resort places you steps away from your private boat, for an incredible sunrise dolphin snorkelling adventure the following day. Dive into the morning waters to swim alongside these wild, majestic creatures, then unwind poolside or explore the nearby waterfalls in the afternoon!

Day 7-9 Ubud

Explore the cultural hub of Bali, Ubud, amidst lush landscapes, vibrant arts, and serene spirituality for three days. Enjoy an all-inclusive day trip on your first day, discovering stunning scenery, waterfalls, and rice fields. The rest of your stay is flexible and up to you - choose from our array of optional extras to explore all that Ubud offers, or indulge in relaxation at an award-winning hostel with complimentary yoga, massages, & pedicures!

Day 10-11 Gili Trawangan

End your journey on a high note at the idyllic paradise of Gili Trawangan, affectionately known as Gili T, where you'll find pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. Enjoy a full free day at your leisure to snorkel with turtles, cycle around the tiny island, or unwind with cocktails on the beach as you witness breathtaking sunsets. It's the perfect finale to the best 12 days of your life!

Day 12 Gili T/Airport/Canggu

As your journey concludes, you have the freedom to decide your final destination! By default, we'll return to Canggu for those with flights the next day, but we're happy to drop you off in other locations in Bali along the way. Alternatively, you can extend your adventure from Gili T and head your own way from there!

We have people from all over the world booking our packages, and our packages are certainly not limited by gender or nationality, however you do have to be between 18-35 years old at the time of travel to book!

Absolutely – if anything, most of our travellers are solo travellers with us! The beauty of our group tours mean that you will arrive as a solo traveller, but will leave feeling like you have just come away from a trip that was booked with 15 of your closest friends!
Our groups are capped at 16 people, as in our experience, that is the perfect number. It means your group isn’t too small, so you will definitely find your people, and not too big, that it becomes too annoying waiting for everyone!

You will indeed – you will all be booked into the same hostel rooms together, the same tours, and all the same transport, so no need to worry about being split up!

So so easy! You will be put in a WhatsApp group chat together with everyone from your group a couple of weeks before your trip begins, allowing you to briefly introduce yourself and also become familiar with your soon-to-be besties. Once you arrive, everyone in your room will also be fellow MAP travellers, and everyone else in your group will be staying in the same accommodation – making it super easy to meet up with everyone straight away (along with the drinks we put on, on your first night)!

You can book them whenever you like! An airport pick-up is included in your package, so if you arrive on the start date of your tour (or a few days before), our local team will be waiting for you at arrivals!

On the last day of your tour, your transport back to the airport, or anywhere else in Bali, is also included for you! When booking a flight out of Bali, we strongly recommend for you to book it AFTER your official last day with us, due to the travel distance between your last location and the airport, along with the chance of delays. Therefore, most travellers choose to be dropped off in Canggu, or at an accommodation nearby the airport on their last day, before their flight out the next day!

Of course! You can see all the extra tours and accommodation you are able to add on by clicking on the Extras tab above. We do recommend adding anything on sooner rather than later, as things can get booked up!

A semi-guided group tour helps keep the freedom and flexibility of backpacking, whilst combining it with the stress-free, friendly nature of group travel – giving you the best of both worlds! It means there is no consistent group leader throughout the trip constantly telling you what you should do, but instead a group leader only for the tours featured, and when one is needed. This allows for the group leaders to be incredibly knowledgeable in their specific area, whilst allowing yourself to have the independence and freedom away from the tours!

We believe this is the way group travel should be, as not everyone is going to want to do all the same things, at the same time! It allows for independence, which is key to enjoying travel, but also allows for a tailorship to your itinerary – so you can fully maximise your experience for yourself, and include everything YOU want to do, without making any compromises. Best of all, you will also have the opportunity to meet other like-minded travellers in the accommodations that you are booked into, alongside spending time with your group!

Everyone will be booked on to the same tours, accommodation and transport options that are listed within the tour package, however, you are more than welcome to speak to us about changing/adding on any other options!

Yes of course, we highly encourage that! We want everyone to have the most amazing time whilst in Bali, and to not be worried before they leave, so that’s why we help people to get in contact with each other just before the trip via a WhatsApp group chat. Furthermore, you can join our Facebook group when your spot is confirmed, to meet others that have also booked your date already, before the group chat is formed, or ask any questions to previous MAP travellers!
Around a week before your tour, we will be sending out to you a very detailed breakdown of locations, timings, and dates in regards to your tour! This will show exactly how the trip will run day-to-day, where your free time will be spent, which meals are included, and much more (hopefully answering any final questions you may have)!

We are with you every step of the way, so if you ever need to get in contact with us due to your booking, or just some general help, we will be here for you! You can contact us via WhatsApp or email before, during or after your trip, and if you ever have any urgent issues when you are in Bali, we will share our local team’s WhatsApp number to you beforehand!

Of course! There is no reason as to why you can’t make more friends!
For the most affordable and most sociable experience, premium dorm rooms come as standard in our package, but that doesn’t have to be the case! Private room upgrades and hotels are also accommodation options that we would be happy to help you with, that won’t reduce your group tour experience!
All accommodation rooms you will be sharing on your trip are exclusively booked out for travellers in your group. If you would like to be in rooms with the same gender, then please get in touch with us once booked in, and we will see what we can do!
After your spot is secured, you will receive an email confirming your booking, along with a lot of other useful documents to help get you ready for your trip with us! Once the full amount is paid and we get closer to your start date, you will receive helpful information on how to get your visa, what to expect when you arrive, and your detailed itinerary! You will also have the option to book in a 1-1 call with one of the team members, who will be able to take you through your whole trip and help answer any questions you may have!
As Bali is situated much closer to the equator than a lot of other places, the weather stays pretty consistent throughout the year! In terms of temperature, Bali really doesn’t fluctuate at all – you can be pretty sure you will experience 30 degree days all year round! There is, however, a wet season (Dec-Mar), and a dry season (Apr-Nov) to take note of. Although it is not going to significantly affect your trip, it may help to pack for rainier weather if you are planning to head out at the start of the year.

Most included meals are not set to just one meal, and often include typical Indonesian dishes, along with some more Western options – offering a nice variety of dishes that cater to most! If you do have any dietary requirements however, please make sure you note them down on your booking, so we can make sure we cater perfectly for you!

There really isn’t that much not included as we have pretty much got you covered! Flights aren’t included with us, neither is an airport drop-off after the last day, along with most lunches & dinners. Otherwise, everything you see in the Tour Inclusions tab (all included tours, accommodation, transport, & meals) are sorted for you!

Of course – when securing your spot, you will have the option to add on any additional accommodation nights with us, which you can add then, or later once you have flights and future plans confirmed.
We can certainly help and offer advice on them! Once booked in, you will receive a confirmation email with our FAQs document attached, containing handy guides on how and when to sort all of these annoying admin bits before your trip with us!

The Bali Adventure package includes 11 nights of accommodation consisting of 9 nights in premium hostel rooms, and 2 nights in a stunning beach resort (triple rooms)! Upgrades can also be added on.

Travel from Denpasar Airport all the way to Ubud is run by exclusive, premium air-conditioned mini-vans. Travel to Gili T is provided by a mini-van to the ferry terminal and a premium fast boat service to the island.

Your return boat and minivan transport is also provided for you on the last day, either to the airport or a location in Bali!

As your Bali Adventure Tour is semi-guided, that means you have flexibility in the way you would like your tour to run and what kinds of activities you would like to do. The remaining balance can be paid at your convenience, but must be settled in full, 90 days before your start date.
