Day 30 Whitsundays/Airlie Beach

Day 31-32 Airlie Beach

Day 33 Airlie Beach/Magnetic Island

Fuel up with a delicious breakfast in Airlie before boarding the bus bound for Townsville, arriving in the early afternoon. From there, catch a ferry to Magnetic Island where your tropical oasis awaits at Nomads hostel. Spend the rest of the day exploring this paradise island with endless activities to enjoy. Don't miss the chance to feed the wild rock wallabies and witness the breathtaking sunset at Hawkings Point Lookout for an unforgettable experience!

Day 34-35 Magnetic Island

Get ready for some island fun by picking up your own Barbie car, a favourite among backpackers exploring Magnetic Island. Cruise around the island and make your way to Bungalow Bay Koala Village for a wildlife tour and the chance to cuddle a rescued koala. Spend the day snorkeling and swimming in the ocean, then embark on the must-do Forts walk for a breathtaking blend of history and culture. Day 36 Magnetic Island/Cairns

Last morning to explore Magnetic Island. Make sure you check out the things you haven’t had a chance to do so yet. Or feel free to go back to any spot you loved. We have included your ferry back to Townsville again where you will hop back on the bus to arrive in the beautiful tropics of Cairns. Get checked into your final hostel on the East Coast and get ready for tomorrow.

Day 37 Daintree Rainforest

Get ready to explore the ancient Daintree Rainforest! Join your entertaining guide for a day filled with adventure, laughs, and breathtaking scenery. Spot wild saltwater crocodiles on a thrilling boat tour, take a refreshing swim in a rainforest creek, and soak in the stunning views. After an unforgettable day, return to Cairns tired but filled with amazing memories, ready to unwind and rest up for another adventure-filled day ahead!

Day 38 Atherton Tablelands

Some of the tours in this package involve group tours where you’ll get the opportunity to meet and make friends with like-minded people. You also have free days where you get to spend them how you’d like. This way we ensure that our packages aren’t too restricted, allowing you opportunities to find your own hidden gems.
  • Is it easy to make friends on your tours?

The East Coast Premium Adventure package includes 42 nights of accommodation. This includes:

Accommodation is based on 4-10 bed shared dorm arrangements. Upgrades to female dorms or private rooms are available.

Travel from Melbourne, Sydney to Cairns (or vice versa) is by premium air-conditioned coach transport featuring comfortable reclining seats, toilets, free Wifi and in-seat USB chargers.

Once the initial deposit has been paid, your place on that specific date is secured!* If you wish to change your date and there’s availability for this, we are more than happy to offer date changes at no extra cost as long as the preferred date is not within 60 days.
